Applepips is a place where your child will learn to trust, appreciate and rely on his own abilities. He will feel self-assured and supported, understood and listened to. At Applepips he will learn to become a sociable and effective communicator. His efforts will be appreciated and rewarded allowing him to become increasingly confident with a strong sense of self worth.

Applepips' firm Christian roots are the foundations from which your child will be able to flourish into a well-rounded, respected member of the community.

My background was originally in nursing, which I found very fulfilling. In 1997 I gave birth to my wonderful daughter Beth and changed my career to child minding, which I have enjoyed now for 12 years. Beth was followed by two gorgeous boys Teddy in 1999 and Robert in 2002! I have gone on to study child development and child counselling. In February 2009 I enrolled on my level 3 qualification course and I plan to go on and complete my degree next year. Applepips is unique in it's approach to early child development I only wish my children had been able to come here!

I have Enjoyed a long and successful career in finance and human resources. In recent years however, I have been searching for a more fulfilling career and then Applepips happened to me! I have four amazing children and live with my husband and family in Little Waltham. I bring to Applepips 12 years experience as a committee member with a local pre-school. I completed my level 2 qualification in 2009 and went straight on to my level 3 course. I am a committed Christian and church member.

I bring six years of experience in early years education and have enjoyed every minute of it! In 2005 I achieved a grade A for my diploma in pre-school practice, which I quickly put to good use in my role as leader with a local group. Prior to having my family I enjoyed a long and successful career in retail management with Next & Habitat. I had long dreamt of owning my own nursery and feel passionate about providing the highest quality of care and education for our children. "I would like to thank my amazing Grandparents for turning my dream of Applepips into reality"

Before having my two wonderful children Jack and Charlie I worked in retail for 6 years and although I enjoyed it very much, it wasn't until Jack was one year old and I changed my career, I realised what I had been missing. I suddenly had a career that was rewarding and one that I felt passionate about. That career was in Early years Education and Childcare and since then I have never turned back! I have enjoyed six years working in Early Years, two of those at a private nursery and 4 years with a community led local group, with which I became supervisor. One of the high points of my career so far was when I achieved a grade 'A' in my Diploma in Pre-School Practice! It is so wonderful to work with the Applepips team and enjoy working for such a high quality provider.

A Parent's Voice April 2009

"Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the boys for the first week at Applepips. I can't believe the change in my son's attitude towards nursery school since he's started with you. He talks proudly about 'Applepips' all the time, gets in the car way ahead of time and tonight said he wished he could come tomorrow! As I said to Jo, I just wish you'd been around a year ago.

I am really impressed with your professionalism and the huge range of activities the boys have already enjoyed. Also the reinforcement and varied ways to learn letters is making my son really interested in what he is learning!"
